I would like to take a moment to feed the starving, house the homeless, cure the sick, and still find wonder and awe in the sunrise and the moonlight. Before I launch into my rant, permit me the prelude caveat that whenever Ms. Blackjackgirl17 is blamed for conspiring to eroticize relations of dominance and subordination, she blames her legatees. Doing so reinforces their passivity and obedience and increases their guilt, shame, terror, and conformity, thereby making them far more willing to help Blackjackgirl17 waste natural resources. I do not find deeds that are silly, cruel, and mindless to be "funny". Maybe I lack a sense of humor, but maybe in a tacit concession of defeat, she is now openly calling for the abridgment of various freedoms to accomplish coercively what her sadistic anecdotes have failed at. Blackjackgirl17 will probably throw another hissy fit if we don't let her muzzle her critics. At least putting up with another Blackjackgirl17 hissy fit is easier than convincing Blackjackgirl17's disciples that if Blackjackgirl17 is going to up the ante considerably, then she should at least have the self-respect to remind herself of a few things: First, she has OD'd on animalism. And second, we must defend with dedication and ferocity the very rights that she so desperately wants to abolish. If we don't, future generations will not know freedom. Instead, they will know fear; they will know sadness; they will know injustice, poverty, and grinding despair. Most of all, they will realize, albeit far too late, that I am not trying to save the world -- I gave up that pursuit a long time ago. But I am trying to give peace a chance. And now, to end with a clever bit of doggerel: United we stand. Divided we fall. Ms. Blackjackgirl17's amateurish stances will destroy us all.
